Abuse of maids.

There is a great demand for foreign maids in our country.This is a natural development as our country progresses and more and more families are moving towards double-income households.But as more maids are employed,we also hear and read in the news about maids being abused and tortured by their employers.This phenomena is disturbing and unhealthy especially now that our mutual relationships with Indonesia is not as solid as before.The recent death of an Indonesian maid who was tortured by her employer is bound to worsen the strained relationship between peoples of the two countries.So Malaysian employers please show more restrain and patience when dealing with local or foreign maids.They are here to help us with our chores and not to be abused.
